Set value of vertical axis (Y-axis)

Axes provide quantitative and categorical scales used to label and assign values to the visual elements on a chart. The X-axis represents categories, while the Y-axis indicates the scale and units of measurement.

Setting the vertical axis is available only for individual series.

To set a vertical (Y) axis:

1. In the chart panel, click Data Series to open the dropdown menu.

2. In the Series tab, click the series to expand it.

3. From the dropdown next to Y, select the column you want to use as the Y-axis.

A quicker way to select a series is to click it directly on the chart.
