Connect null values

If your dataset contains gaps, enabling the Connect null values option will connect the previous and next data points, ensuring a continuous line without breaks in the chart. This option is available for certain chart types, including Line, Spline, Step, all Area charts, Master/Details charts (except Column), and Dual Axis charts.

General settings

  1. In the chart panel, click Data Series to open the dropdown menu.

  2. Select the General tab.

  3. Check the box next to Connect null values.

This option can be set only in the General section for the chart types listed above, except for Dual Axis charts. For Dual Axis charts, you need to enable this option individually for each series that uses Line, Spline, Step, or Area chart types.

Here’s how to enable this option for Dual Axis chart types:

  1. In the chart panel, click Data Series to open the dropdown menu.

  2. Open the Series tab and click a series to expand it.

  3. Check the box next to Connect null values.
