Statistics Canada (StatCan) represents the base of key information for Canada’s economy, society and environment.
To import data from StatCan, please follow these steps:

Go to the Vizualist dashboard and select the project where you want to create your chart.

Click the
button.

Select Chart from the Vizualist Templates list.

Enter the name for your chart and click the Next button.

Select Statistics Canada.
-
Type in a vector ID and search for Statistics Canada data.

Click Find a vector… to add multiple vectors to your chart.

Click Formula to create a calculation for your series.

Use the Observation range dropdown to set the start date or period for your observations.

Click Done.

Use the Auto update dropdown to set the data frequency for the chart.

Click Next.

Have a final review of the vectors you created for your chart.

Click the Next button.

Choose the recommended chart type and click Next.
The app will recommend chart types that best fit your dataset, but you can choose any of the 24 supported types.

In the Preview window, review your chart and click Create Chart.
The transpose option is not available for StatCan charts when the auto-update option is enabled.
StatCan data updates automatically, so any changes in the source data will be reflected in your chart without manual updates.
