Set value of vertical axis (y-axis)

Axes provide quantitative and categorical scales that are used to label and assign values to the visual objects on a chart. The X-axis represents the different categories and the Y-axis has a scale and indicates the units of measurement.

Setting the vertical axis is possible only for individual series.

To set a vertical (Y) axis:

  1. In the upper-right corner, click Edit. 
  2. In the right-hand sidebar, select 'Series' tab and click on Data Series.
  3. Click a series to expand it.
  4. From the dropdown menu next to Y, select the series you want to use as the Y-axis. 

 A quicker way to select a series is to click the bar, line, or symbol representing that series in the chart.
