Set up navigator in master-detail charts

Master-detail charts allow you to visualize millions of data points in a single chart without sacrificing readability. The navigator is used to zoom in on any particular area of the graph, which allows you to analyze even the smallest outliers in unprecedented detail.

The navigator is available only in master-detail charts.

1. In the upper-right corner, click Edit.
2. In the right-hand sidebar, click Navigator to expand the section.
3. From the Type dropdown, select the navigator type that works best with your chart.
4. Set Start Date and End Date.

   When Start Date and End Date have been set, only the defined range will be displayed when the chart is loaded. Keep in mind, though, that your audiences will be able to adjust the range using the navigator.
