Add trendline

Trendline is used to visualize the general pattern or direction of a data series. Trendlines are useful when determining increase or decrease, which is statistically distinguished from random behavior.

  1. In the upper-right corner, click Edit.
  2. Click Data Series to expand the section.
  3. Select the series you want to edit.
  4. Click the checkbox to Show trendline. 
  5. From the Type dropdown, select the trendline type.

Trendline option is available only for scatter and bubble chart type.
